Send this guy an e-mail.
smeshey@charter.net

He's from the other side of the river, but does the best job in the area. His name is Scott.

I'm hoping to learn how to tune this summer and be able to do quick fixes/tunes for people in the area for pretty cheap. It would be a good way to make a little bit of money on the side, and I pick things up really quick, so it shouldn't be too bad. I just don't know what year I should purchase for my second choice (I have a 2002 and HPTuners comes with support for 2 years). If anyone would be interested in paying for some simple stuff, pm me or post here with what you might want done and what year f-body you have. Later guys.

I feel dumb to ask this question, but when people tune the cars what do they do? Like change the fuel to air ratio and stuff like that? How much do they normally run?

Tuning can mean changes to a number of things.

AFR, timing, injector rate, power enrichment, idle quality, shift points, rev limits, speed limiters, remove codes, etc... It all depends on what modifications to the vehicle have been made. Tuning my own car with a WB, it almost seems like there are more tables that I've tweaked than not, almost.
