On a side note, anyone local done the !PCV mod or modified the system to reduce oil consumption? I burned 1.5 quarts in my first 1100 miles with 10W-30 oil. About 100 miles ago I changed to 10W-40 hoping to fix the problem. So far I dont have huge black piles of burnt oil on the floor beneath my tips from startup but I would still like to updgrade the PCV system.
Are you using the LS6 PCV system?

Amazingly, yes! I installed a shift kit and thats about it. I havent tried launching with any traction which is probably why it hasnt disinegrated yet. Also, it only has 25K miles on it. I am hoping it will last me till winter. Then I can do a tranny and rear end swap......maybe. Also, I never get on it in first gear(because its a waste), I just wait till half way through second and then kick the car sideways. Also, I really havent pushed it much past 5500 (stock fule pump is killing me) so the tranny hasnt shifted too high.

Not too far from you myself... Live in Morris - my car rests in Grand Rapids right now in storage though.

I'd offer assistance on the clutch, but my garage is far from capable of housing a vehicle.

Probably hitting car craft, no intention of going to BttF here.

Cool deal, never would have thought there would be a member out here by me. When you gonna get your car out of storage? Would be pretty cool to cruise sometime. Theres a little show here in town in a month or so, a couple nice cars. Let me know if you are going down to car craft.

Went to Bttf today, kinda sucked it started raining, but it was still pretty fun. A LOT of cars thats for sure, im sure i missed quite a few too. I went with my friends family, and they wernt too interested and wanted to get out of the rain so we didnt stay as long as i would have liked, but oh well. The cars at the Car Craft show are more my style, dont get me wrong, the cars at BTTF are nice, but i like muscle cars better

Just got word that DynotuneUSA will be at Car Craft next month. The premier mobile chassis dyno in the Midwest. This was the same guy that was going to be in Prior Lake a few weeks ago. I'll be there helping out so stop by.

It'd be nice to get all these cars on the same dyno to see how they compare(hint, hint, real world numbers)

I don't know if my car will come down here this summer - I'm a traveling technician so when I get home my desire to go cruising is not very high, which is why it's stored in Grand Rapids collecting dust.

Probably just going to let it sit up there this summer for sure as I really don't want it down here - this winter I have a set of heads and a clutch and new gears that need to go in it - and my friend that is storing it for me has a lift and all the tools I need, in a garage far larger than mine.

Car Craft will depend on how much time I have - I've got a few other plans and projects through the summer and my birthday falls right on that timeframe - sort of depends on how worn out on doing things I happen to get before that time.

Does anyone run TSP TDs (dumped), I'm thinking about getting them with Moroso Spiral Flows when I buy my LTs. I just wanna know if I can handle them

Also, does anyone wanna delete my EGR, AIR and O2 codes?
