Decatur and Peoria IL? Anybody? 
Just trying to get a feel for who all with a F-body lives in the Decatur or Peoria area. I see a few f-bod's around here and was wondering if there was any good hang out spots or etc...In either city. I am in Decatur on the weekends and Peoria during the week.

We try and do get togethers in the summer. We also do a lot af racing at 41, byron, and cordova. Stay tuned and we should be putting together something in the next few months.

Decatur here!! Decatur sucks pretty much lol, I have never been to any meets or hangouts on this board but i will this year when it warms up hopefully. I do have quite a few friends with F-bodies but they are kinda fallin out of it.

I'm between Bloomington and Peoria. Like Steve said, there's not a lot going on in the winter, but he has organized a couple of meets in the spring and summer. I've always had a good time even though the weather usually turns out to be pretty crappy no matter what day it's planned.

Peoria right here, well washington but close enough. I am always up for meeting people, hanging out. There are a couple of us LS1tech guys here in Peoria (greg fell, mtnbkr81 and harleydavidson88 come to mind). There are also a few mustang/import (they are cool) guys too.
Like said Steve Burger is great about organizing get-togethers.
And yes fxforhair, we go to cordova. Myself, Steve and Greg were there at the end of last year for the Vicarry day.
Edit: is this courtney? I think we met at Cordova.

Wednesday night meeting? Those of you guys currently in peoria want to me up sometime wednesday or thursday night? I get my new tires put on wednesday morning it would be nice to be able to go crusin with some peeps to break them in?

We go to Cordova a lot. I need to get my car back together and I'm ready to go again.
Oh, by summer we may have a horse farm and some land. We can have a killer party and cookout when that happens. Nice Hot Rod garage and a place to party with a keg cooler. Stay tuned.
We need to do a GTG soon. It will need to be on a weekend for me as I am traveling a lot.

That's awesome! I can envision a horse stable next to a horse-power stable.
Since the groundhog saw his shadow, it'll be hard to guess when the weather will stay consistantly decent, but I'd be game for a GTG whenever. My car will be done in about 2-3 weeks and I cant wait to hit the road!

Same here, my car is hibernating. Clutch is about useless anyway. But I'd be game for a get-together. I will gone the next 2 weeks but after that anytime should work.
Ryant, you must be the other sunset orange SS around here. My bud Tim has an 01 sunset SS, and we were wondering how many were around here. I had seen at least one other one.

I work at the CAT mossville tech center. I drive on 29 everyday to work around 2:45pm-3pm and then I come home anytime after 11pm on route 29. I saw a blue T/A yesterday on my way to work could that have been you on 29?

Wasn't me, my TA has been in the garage for several months now. It doens't like snow

I work in building L at the tech center as a Test cell operator.
Omaha--- My parents live in forsyth on the north side of decatur, I often come back to visit them on weekends. You may have seen my car a time or two driven around town. Might your initials be T.B.??? I won't say your name on here to keep your identity but I know someone who drives a green formula in D-town

nope those are not my initials......... I go to school in decatur as a Business Major... I am around decatur alot...... not so much out towards Billingsleys place but in the central area.......... never seen your car or many fbodys at all for that matter...... mostly stangs

I'm only in decatur on the weekends and I'm mainly on the north side of town by the mall so I don't get downtown very often. We go to the lincoln lounge and lock stock and barrel once in a while, over by milikin.
