Winged Warrior Domestic vs Import Racing Indianapolis DSM Site is putting this together all are welcome. It's for a good cause plus you get to spank the imports

I guess I can post the info/rules/regs, and classes on here. To sum it up in a nutshell. I will be having a Import vs Domestic speed challenge shoot-out type deal. The entry is by Donation Only. $5- whatever. ALL proceeds go directly to Riley Hospital (Cheer guild), so in the end, the kids WIN. And we all have a blast raising money for them! TOTAL WIN-WIN!
I am the Captain of TEAM IMPORT, The team Captain For TEAM USA is Brody (quicksilver). we will be having an open registration SOON, via a website. We get 70 cars per side, ranging from stock to OMG! (10 alternates also per side) Cool
If someone can post the satellite view of the airport and events on here, thanks, if not, I will figure out how to. I digress.
Event is June 3rd, 2006
The EVENTS:
Large Auto-X
700ft slalom
Skidpad
100-0 MPH
0-60 ft.
Drag race
Auto show
The cars get 3 attempts at each event, lowest individual time is a "keeper". The combined total time of the auto X, for example will determine the winner of that event. ie auto X champions: TEAM IMPORT, and so on.
you will be selected on your mods, and how well you will be able to help your respective team.
At the end of the day, the top 5 imports, will square off with the top 5 Domestic cars, for the GRAND FINALE. (The final event will be awesome, but will be kept secret until day of event) This event will determine the overall winner of 2006. Who is it going to be? It will be a day full of fun, burning rubber, and the smell of race fuel in the air. Plenty of Food/drinks also. This is fun for the whole family!
There will be plenty of prizes, trophies, shirts, etc....Rules and regs up soon, as well as the classes, and where to pre register.

This event, they will be shutting down the north/south runway and other areas for us. The general public can enter, (will have traffic police there, and have control of the "gates".) There will be a huge car show also, food, vendors etc... while the rest of us are racing, so it will be a family Fun-day. In effect you can show, and not enter the car show, or the events

It is Mt. Comfort....and the Indy DSM group is not putting it on. Dr. Kevin Butterfield has put it on for the last 2 years and this is the third. The first year, he held a car show in front of the building he practices at. Last year it got a little bigger to actually include vehicles performing in different aspects of racing.
This, his third year is going to be HUGE!! Here is a pic that was taken as a promo for banners to be placed all over.

AS of right now.....no it's not up. The guy Kevin was going to have do it has practically gone missing. They can't get in touch with him, so they are pursuing a new web guy. It should be up soon though.
