Twisters..MO &IL It looks like some BAD storms are going across the midwest...
Springfield and Decatur look like they are getting hit hard.
I know there was a tornado near St louis was anyone near these?
When I watch the radar it kinda looks like the worst part of the storm is heading my way

I am staying in Taylorville, IL just SW of Springfield. The local weather stations have been showing all the damage. The weather station is running off of generators so their coverage is not the best.
Anyone from Springfield got any updates? I heard reports that Knights Action Park is gone, as are quite a few roofs off the mall, Target, Walmart, etc. Also heard one of the power substations is gone too? Unfortunately, my car is/was down there only a couple of blcoks away getting the finishing touches done on a crap-load of goodies so I'm praying that it didnt get touched. Ugh. Talk about bad luck!

Yeah, that's the one. Still dont have any confirmation but supposedly, that was on the local radio as having been hit hard. The west side of I-55, along I-72 was where it touched down.

We were caught in that bad hail around 4 pm right by the southside of joliet, I thought my Truck was toast thats how hard it was, then at 1130 lastnight it started hailing really bad again!

Put on 550 miles storm chasing and saw just some hail covering I-39 about 30 miles south of I-80. I also learned that there is no free wireless to steal in Peoria...bastards!!! We didn't have time to hit up Bradley's campus though...probably could have found some there...The McDonalds on Market Street in Bloomington also has non-functional wireless access. McWireless my ***....
I'm in Decatur and the wind/storm woke me up around 3:15am.... about that time I checked the doppler radar and man did it look nasty! We camped out in the basement for awhile til the tornado sirens went quieted down. My boss headed to Springfield today and said it looked like a war path over there. Hopefully this isn't any indication of what we have in store for the spring/summer months. There's a few pictures of the damage up at www.wtax.com for those of you that haven't seen the damage.
I didn't hear a thing after about 11:00 
when i went to bed...but then again it was so windy today that the dog pee'd on himself!!!!
