Don't drive in the rain on ET streets.
I was dumb enough to think I could get to Orland tonight in the Z28 on slicks with my driving skills.... Apparently, they weren't enough. Going down 355, the *** end went way out to the left, then to the right, and that repeated about ten times till I got the car to settle down. Going 50 or so sideways down the highway staring at the curb with traffic behind you is a sobering experience. I'm just glad I got the car home in one piece.

Ya, driving on slicks in the rain sucks! Hell your *** end kicks out on you when break even!
Hell last year on the way back from byron. It started down pouring all of a sudden. (Thank god I mine was on a trailer). But my friend was on slicks and we were going 70mph when this hit, spun from side to side for a few mins while trying to slow down, and almost ended up in the center median.

Wow, you guys must suck. Hell I've owned cars that ONLY had slicks on them and drove them in the rain all the time, never got silly unless I was trying. I was scared at first because I thought they would just randomly break loose, but they didn't. I think the worst I had was when my GN was on BFG DR's, that thing would just break tires loose but you couldn't hear the engine rev so you didn't know it until the *** end swung out.

TS6 I'd outdrive you in anything with wheels on it, but you won't catch me risking my camaro driving in rain on slicks maybe you should be knocking on wood while you talk about not having ran into anything yet b/c you are a hotshot.
ps neither have I when caught in rain on slicks but its something I sure as hell try to avoid, i don't have a death wish.
