Race #3 will be at Norwalk Raceway (http://www.norwalkraceway.com/) on Friday, September 8th. This will be our biggest track day of the year. You are going to want to have the day off and go racing.
Here's the link to the race info on the club's site:

Here's the link to our other remaining race date for 2006 which include one more trip to Milan:
http://www.motownmuscle.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=25977
Two lanes of full track prep at Norwalk with more than 6 hours of track time. It doesn't get any better than that. This is the stuff dreams are made of boys and girls. There should be some interesting cars out there that people have been waiting to see all summer.
The gates will open at 9:00 AM. Tech will start up shortly after that followed by TnT racing. Concessions will be open from 10am-2pm so you can get your 1lbs of Ice Cream al la Norwalk. We'll run our regular three class race program at 1:00PM and continue to mix in TnT until the end of our race day at 4:00PM.
Everyone is welcome to come race. Only Active Club Members will be awarded Point Series Points to have a shot at getting your name on the MM Chris Jackson Memorial Cup for the 2006 race season.
Schedule:
9:00AM - Gates open and tech starts
9:30AM - Lanes open for TNT
1:00PM - Classes start running
4:00PM - Awards and wrap up
Cost Info:
We are going to keep the same cost split for racing this year with members racing for a $10 discount at each event. So the $40 savings pays for your $25 annual membership fee if you attend all four race events during your membership year.
Members that are current on their dues will race for $40.
Guests can race for $50 or they can pay the $25 membership fee and race for $40 for the day and receive the $10 discount on future races.
Spectators get in free as always. So bring the family or come watch your friends race, and have a good time.
Norwalk's regularly scheduled TNT will start at 5:30PM and run to 11:00PM. They typically let us just walk to the gate to pay for a new tech card if you would like to continue racing after our event.
All classes require the standard safety equipment for your speed/ET to clear tech. If the track tells you to slow down... then that's what we have to do.
Class Summary:
Class 1 - Run what you brung quick 16. Fastest 16 cars get a shot at heads up racing. It's heads up, pro tree racing.
Class 2 - 11.99 and faster ET bracket racing. This one should have it all with turbo(s), juice and some SC cars coming out to play. Street tires, DRs and Slicks keep the racing fun and fast.
Class 3 - 12.00 and slower ET bracket racing. The battles are heating up in this competitive class.
Prize Money:
Each class will payout: 1st-$100, 2nd-$50, 3rd-$20 and 4th-$20.
Point Series Scoring:
1st place finish-5pts
2nd place finish-3pts
3rd place finish-1pt
4th place finish-1pt

Yep, we'll be paying at the gate again this year Ray. I knew we'd catch your attention on the TTT.
The Stenod crew always puts on a good show at our events. Harlan putting it on the bumper that day was certainly a highlight.
Fryguy302-Raj should have his mustang out for the day.
I need to get this post into the FI section because I'm sure the rest of the usual Ohio suspects would enjoy a trip away from work on a Friday.![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)

Should be some interesting cars getting out for some fun on a sticky full prepped Norwalk track.
We just might pull off a 30-40% FI mix this time out.
Something for everyone to watch or race including: F-bodies, Stangs, Vettes, Neon SRT4s, Cobalts, Montes, Turbo Buicks/GNs, Trucks, and many more.
If you've got a grudge match to run, then this is the track to come settle up at.![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)

Just a reminder about getting your passes in at a great track. We're looking at good air for all the FI guys out there looking for a place to hook.
