Problem With Car!!! Hey guys i just got back from vacation and when i left for vacation the car was fine, so today i get back and start the car and boom, the security light is on..Car started fine and everything but it seems like the light is stuck on..What do i need to do to fix this? or does anyone have any idea on what it can be?

Rich tried hot wiring it while you were gone. He was in such a hurry and couldn't wait for me to get there and show him how to do it. He crossed the yellow wire with the red wire and that is why it is throwing the light. Just take apart your guage cluster and put some black electrical tape over the light. No big deal.

yea i ahd that problem i cleaned my key it went away then a week later it came back on and the car wouldnt start the wires for the vats module broke of in the tilt for the steering column so i just ut resistors under the dash instead of th vats module...doesnt take too long.....longest part is matching th resistance to the key!
