Thumbs down Some crazy ****..... -5*F !!!!

Wow. Just went to get gas for my daily driver. It barely wanted to start....but when it did, the thermo said -5. That's cold. I mean, REALLY cold.

Ever notice when it's this cold outside that everything sounds louder than usual? I live pretty close to I94, and you can always hear some minor backround noise from the highway when standing in my front yard (kinda sounds like the ocean off in the distance), but when it's this cold, the highway sounds about twice as loud from my house.

Forecast for tomorrow as shown on NBC5 @ 10pm:

High: 0*F.

Where the hell is all this global warming **** now?

LMFAO, WTF are you doing out? I thought you had some sort of ebola or something? My outside thermometer reads -7 right now, and I was over at Al's working on the car for most of the day, and he's on Roadside this weekend! This weather is just getting old now. I could go for some serious global warming right about now!

Speaking of daily drivers, the Buick's power steering didn't feel like "powering" itself for about 5 minutes after start up earlier today. Hey that was fun.

I drove the Camaro over to the liquor store a few minutes ago. The trans temp was 5 and the coolant was 34. I ******* hate cold weather!

I figured this was the best time to get out though.....having a fever of 103 means that the cold doesn't bother me quite so much. Actually I was afriad that if I didn't put some gas in that it might freeze tonight. Tank was pretty low.

So you and Al were in that cold *** garage all day! **** you too are nuts. At least when we were building Jason's car it was a heated garage. Bet Roadside will be worth big $$$$ tonight.

Check the PS fluid level in the Buick. The Bonnie was doing the same thing, added some fluid and problem solved.

We were in his Ma's new garage with a propane heater, so it wasn't too bad but still cold as hell. For some reason we make a habit out of doing all this "high performance" **** in the dead of winter but we've really outdone ourselves this time. At least it was above 0 degrees last winter for the first cam swap.

I'll have to check the ps fluid I guess, it was full last oil change but we'll see. I guess I can't complain, I mean it is -7 outside.

it's 67* here right now... I won't be stepping outside till 3pm today though... so I anticipate a drastic climate change (at least until my car warms up)

Every since Ive been back home from being stationed in TX, I F---ING HATE THE COLD & SNOW!!! Every time I can see my breath or I feel like I just inhaled a bucket of dry ice, I want to just go in the house and sit under the furnace so that it reminds me of the Southwest, lol.

lol.. I found out my Autometer Trans temp gauge when its this cold out will start at 120 when I first start the car.. then creeps down to 100 (the lowest it reads) and stays there. I guess after it gets into the single digits the gauge goes backwards!
