Grossman sucked... but I still say he's the future of the Bears.... this was essentially his rookie year... he's VERY inconsistent... but when he's on, he's huge... when he's off... he sux lol

The Bears haven't had a good quarterback for YEARS! I think Rex will improve next year now that he's got an entire season under his belt and has played some of the best teams in the NFL

while tonight sucked for the Bears... when Rex reviews the tapes, hopefully he'll learn alot from Manning ....

I think both teams are winners for making it this far.

And Payton wasn't the best BQ when he came out. It takes a while to get that good. This is his 9th year with the colts. That's a lot of practice.

if the whole world felt that way it'd be great

But ... Colts won
Bears didn't win

Nice to see DA BEARS make it this far (first SB since 1/86 I believe) .. but anything less than a superbowl win is a loss IMHO

We just need to play harder next year (maybe rex can pay manning for advice lol)

techniquely he's right, it was 1/86.. January 24th, 1986, at the end of the 1985 season.

That was Indiana's plan all along. Raise Grossman and get him a spot on the roster of a top 25 school. Then, make him available for a Bears team in need of a QB to draft. Finally, once we have the Colts vs Bears in the big game, have Grossman just totally throw the game for the Bears. I'm talking just fall down for the sack, toss up some ducks for the Colts to pick off, everything. This plot was years in the making.
But seriously, that wasn't the best showing on the big stage for him. But the Bears D didn't exactly pick up the slack like they have all year either.

I agree. The colts would of still walked on them. The colts played great on both sides of the ball.
