Just messin with you. To each his own. I do not get moddin a 4 cylinder car. I am not a fan of the Japanese cars as a performance car either. Then again I am 40 , so maybe I am too old to relate.

The GSX is a sweet car! If I didn't have a SS i would probably have a GSX. It still crosses my mind to get one when the SS is paid off.

Trans are **** in DSM's Ive known alot of owners and they are always rebuilding, I would say keep your car or trade it in for a lsx powered vehicle.

On the honest end they break alot when they're fast. Also 95-99 GSXs have a severe problem with crank walk, if you get one get a 92-94 for the stronger block and the money savings cause you will be replacing everything. Buscher racing is probably your best source for power and parts for a really good price. I looked into a DSM cause my friend built a really fast 11 sec car but he said it was nothing but problems also consider that high HP GSX will need race gas and wont be at full potential on the street.

just a thought but doesnt everything seem to break alot easier when theres more power involved. NOT ALL THE TIME but the chances are higher. If you like the car get one everythings gonna have to get fixed sooner or later.... at least thats how I look at it

agreed they do break alot. Even DSM guys that race eclipse joke about how much they break. DSM= down several months

if you want reliable turbo awd power then you go subura WRX... costs more but you get what you pay for.

but something reliable also that you can depend on when the DSM will be down because it will be down. With that said they are fun as hell to drive especially when you get some work into them.I'm more of a first gen fan 90-94 I don't think they are as girly as the 2nd gen 95-99 but thats just MHO
