Crappy Day!!!!!
Crappy Day!!!!! Well I started this day real well. I got off midnites this morning and decide "HEY ILL GET THE EMISSIONS DONE ON THE Z!!" so I move EVERY car in my drive way (about 3 plus a trailer..... the other 4 are @ work 
) anywho so I pull out the Z after swapping batteries from my truck b/c the Z's was dead and then im off to go bring a friend that works w/me home and on the way into Manteno I get pulled over FOR NO FRONT LICENSE PLATE!!!!!! And I was in a pack of like 5 people on RT50. Im PISSED I looked @ my odom and it said I only went 13.6 mi before I got pulled over. The main reason I parked the car was b/c 2 days after Thanksgiving I got a HUGE ticket for being REALLY STUPID and was doing 102 in a 55 (he wrote it up for 90 though). BUT you know what the REAL KICKER is I FAILED MY EMISSIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which was the only reason I even pulled it out!! MAn I hate that a**hole cop. It was a rookie being trained though cuz the vet was riding bi***. I hope your guys' day is alot better than mine though. sorry for venting but for once I wasnt being a ***** driving b/c I cant for atleast another 10 mnths.

Sorry about the bad luck.
But I bet you didn't "fail" the emissions test. You were likey "rejected" due to a "not ready" status of all your OBD system tests. After disconnecting the battery, you will need to get a few driving cycles in before the PCM will complete all the diagnostics, then you can get tested.

Yeah you are correct I just said failed but yes he said the same thing. Had I know that well who knows. Im just really ......... distraught right now. I just cant believe how crappy everything is going today. It went smoothly last nite @ work. Im like yeah its gonna be an wesome friday... IT SURE IS!!!!!
That sucks man. When I had my 30th TA a IL. state trooper followed me for three miles before pulling me over. I was like a half mile away from speed incs shop and I was going there for the open house. He just pulled me over for no front liscense plate. While he stood there four or five f-bodys with no plates come roaring by and he just looks.
Don't feel bad about the emissions my brothers 72 monte carlo they wanted tested and we took it three times and would not pass. He finally had to fill out the show car/race car form. You should be able to pass no problem. As long as the pcm is not throwing and codes or lights on the dash it will pass with flying colors.
That is why I hate IL. I want to get out of this state.

sorry to hear about the shitty day but check this out. mygirlfriend's blazer started puking anti-freeze out of the back of the motor so after figuring out what the problem was i had to pull the transer case and trans and all the other bs out just to get to the back 2 freeze plugs.

O that was a shitty day. Hope the weekend gets better for ya. Being sick all week has made this week really crappy for me. So hopefully one of the couple people that want to come look at my car this weekend buy it so I can take all that money and buy the T/A I want. Then, all the badness of the week would be forgotten and I can become an f-body owner again.

Last night I dropped $130 on my g/f for dinner and drinks and I didn't get laid. I was pissed all damn night. The kicker is she believes I am the one that she wants to marry. Damn women.
