Hope some of the Chi-Town guys got a chance to ride their toys in this 5o degree temp
With this awesome 50 degree weather today Weds, 2-21-07, finally had a chance to take out the new Motorcycle I picked up this winter and put on the first offical 5 miles on my new toy, Dual Sport, Honda XR 650 L, enduro, and did my best to stay on the dry side streets! Nothing like a little case of spring fever!
Was dying to get the vette out but most of the streets are just too flooded from the deep freeze thaw out!

I decided to defy old man winter this friday afternoon, in light of the wintery forecast for the entire weekend, and jumped into my Blown Z06 and logged on 55 highway miles.
Sometimes I wonder what's worse, having your vette just sit all winter long in one spot with all the seals and crap drying out, or getting a lil dry salt power on her. I mean isn't that what the California salter (I mean duster) is for after all!
Felt good to be back in the saddle and she drove like a champ and of course that salt duster does wonders when I was all done with her (she still looks clean amazingly). Like I always said, I will be long gone from this world before a little dry salt powder causes any real significant damage on my vette!
