Default KCIR (Kansas City, MO) Hotels?

We will be traveling to KCIR in August and would like to get some suggestions on hotels around the track. Where is the best place to stay? Also, where are the best places to get good food and drinks? Any other info is greatly appreciated.

Noland Road in Independance, MO will probably be your best bet. There's a bunch of stuff in that area.

Thanks! I'll check it out. I found a Holiday Inn on 4825 NE Lakewood Way in Lees Summit, MO. Do you know anything about that area? The map said that it is 4 miles away from the track.

I'm getting to know it, I just moved to LS. I don't know that exact area, but if you go north from there on 470/291, there's quite a bit at the I470/I70 interchange.

Pinks. We don't want to end up in a bad neighborhood, but at the same time we don't want to get into a hotel that is overly strict. We are bringing a large (and probably noisy) group.

You can't go wrong in Lee's Summit or Independance, but stay away from KC, MO. There are some areas there that can be a little shady.

I'd go with the Holiday Inn you found in Lees Summit. It's a nice ritzy area.

I'm also looking at coming down there. $74 bucks at the Holiday Inn in Lee's Summit. Not too bad.

Is the race taking place on friday or saturday?

Is the "all out" part being filmed saturday as well? Knowing when everything gets started on saturday would be good to know. I'm only 4 hours from KC so I might just drive down early Sat. morning.

This is NOT an 'All Out' show. They are only filming the regular 'Pinks' at KCIR.
