Sorry for the late reply, it is at the corner of Wolf and Kensington roads in Mt Prospect. We are there every Sat night and have a pretty decent turnout most times. You should stop by next Sat!

it was alright, not like a friday night but still a pretty full parkin lot.
some guy and girl in a mitsubishi truck pulled up next to me gettin on the highway with a "HONK FOR ****" sign so I of course... loving **** myself... honked a good honk thinking they just wanted a honk.
I really got a good surprise when i saw the girl in the passenger seat start to move around, so I stay next to them, get in a strait line, and look over and she has her biggo **** out. I gave the thumbs up and the "yessss" fist pump at the same time.
And also, for some reason I just wanted to see how fast some WS6 was who was claiming a lot of mods and he wouldn't line up with me.
Also I toyed with a G35 on the way home (highway), it wasn't even close or s story worth telling.

Streets is pretty crazy... Reminded me of San Diego on the weekends with all the people walking around. Still, a bit ricey for me, but none the less. Since I went up there to watch a movie, I parked in the Garage... Besides, not much of a street racer in my stock A4... Maybe next season.... My guess is that it wont last too long since stupidity runs rampant, and the cops are watching. I just cant get over the fact that all the teeny boppers in moms car are trying to fly around a PACKED lot. Makes me nervious just driving through there. Besides, large groups in general kind of turn me away.
Place is a ticking time bomb for something to happen.... Just my opinion. Combine booze, fast cars, large groups of people trying to impress others.... Its a formula for bullshit. As a spectator tho, well thats a different story... Comedy.

twisted - your car isnt 100% stock at least, when i go there i feel like my car is a person trying to talk standing next to a 747 about to take-off. nobody can hear me over the cammed LSx's and fart cans.
i dont go there to race or be jagoff, i jus go to socialize with the f-bods mostly. I have tried to talk to some ricers before but they seem to be obsessed with all 4 of their cylinders and can't talk about anything except how their car will beat my cars *** no matter what i have done so "lets race" hahaha ohhhhh ricers....
i love seeing 16 year olds in C6's because its so obvious that they are posing when they spin the tires....

Wasnt saying you were one of those. That was just my observation. There is good and bad in every crowd, but there it seems for the most part the latter of the two. Good times none the less. I prefer the meijer show for the fact that its more laid back and about the car, not the party/race. Again just my .02

I thought there was some races going on down in Joliet that weekend.... Might head down there as a spectator. Hotrod challenge or something.... Who knows. If not I will be around. Always down for something on the weekends.

most likely because they feel like they have something to prove whereas muscle cars just know they are fast so its more social
most of our cars can take out very modded ricers so....

Streets has been like that for YEARS. It's nothing new. It was like 6-7 years ago when I used to go out there.
These days I won't go back. It's just not my scene anymore. I went there once at the start of the season with Mike, and I remembered why I stopped going there.
