Default So when are you guys putting away your cars for the year?

Well guys My car will be put away october 3rd I think anyways thats when insurance runs out. Ive had a great year with no tickets or accidents in any of my cars. Ive already been collecting parts for my winter plans for the car witch include some type of cam witch I have not got yet, longtubes witch im waiting for my buddie to take off his car,c5 Z06 wheels I think and I have my nx kit sitting here waiting to be installed. oh and a nice quiet exhasut so hopfully hide the cam noise and go stealthy this year . Hopfully if I can budget it all in a nice built trans since I think ill need it with the cam espicialy if I decide to hit it with a 100shot or even 50shot. We'll see what happens hopfully the 10bolt holds up to. Oh well its been an awesome year lots of cool carshows tons of good races and good times. Hopfully I can make it to the meijer show a few more times this year but hate coming down from rockford with how dirty the car gets

to an awesome ticket/accident free year

Yeah I would really like to take the cruise that one of the groups do they basicly go right through my backyard I think it is the MFBA or maybe someone else im not sure. Il have to check into it. Ive only put 2500 miles on my car this year witch the car already has almost 80,000 so I tend to not drive it to much. my insurance runs out oct3rd So unless its absolutly gorgous out I will put it away
we'll see

I know what you mean! I'll be getting mine out, hopefully, the first week in October. I've put about 10 miles on mine in the last year.

11/12/06 was the last time it was out.

I hope to have it out again next spring. Just depends on $$ and how fast I can get parts.

I always put the Camaro away the last weekend in October. That's still about 7 weeks away, so I'm not even thinking about winter storage just yet. I'm hoping to have another F-body to drive on the nicer days of the winter this off-season.

Actually it's like my car is always in storage. It's been driven less than 600 miles this year.
