And i can definately make you a deal on the springs (not like im gunna use them anyways) i should be home november 10 or so for my 2 weeks of leave so if you can wait a lil while i can deliver them personally

so get this tonight i was on my way to party driving down ashworth, and at the stop light by crossroads elemtery on 50th. a red evo pulls up behind me because a car was in the lane next to me so i figured what the hell why not... before i contuine i have a full car t-tops down. okay well i get up to thirty and pass the car in the lane next to me well the evo try's to do a flyby well i wasnt going to let that **** fly so when he gets up on my door me and door me and him take off.... he gets the jump but then again ls1+1st gear at 3k= whip flash. i instantly pull a car and a half then i look up he's in the rear view and im going about 105 down ashworth dumb dumb i know. when i tried to drop back to talk to him he would hide i tried getting in the lane he wasnt in then hed get behind me about 3times man it was crazy

hey guys,
thought i'd just introduce myself over here. i normally post over svtperformance (i know this is ls1 forum) but i'm all for anything high performance.
anyways, a few of us are going to gather together this sunday over at kmart around 9:00 a.m. and cruise on over to altoona and meet up with the des moines guys. then we'll all head over to newton speedway for the car show and drags. most likely there be some fun on the way there...but i thought i'd post up and ask.

+1 on te douche bag thing, he's lucky I ran out of money this summer
also, he broke something at a supposed "big money street race" in des moines. Last i knew it was at Lund's in Waukee getting fixed.

haha... he isn't quite 26... he's brando and my age. I'm 20 and brando is 21 so he's 22 tops. It's a saleen charger with a NOS bar on it.

I raced my buddy's '06 supercharged Saleen in Indy last year for him at the WFC X. I don't see him calling out anything too fast in that yellow thing.
I took some pics at the LSx Shootout, I posted them in that forum....

That show ain't cheap. Driving on the track itself would be fun..... If you didn't have to follow the pace car.

Ya man i hear ya there! The price is the only thing really keeping me from going...plus it's my sister-in-law's 21st birthday so we're goin out for that sat and i may not be functional till about 5 in the afternoon

the price isn't all to bad. i believe i paid that much for the mustang show over at valley junction this summer. anyways there are probably going to be a number of us meeting up at prairie at 10 a.m. along with
the twin turbo black mustang that was over at eddyville is coming along (his name is Ryan Vitrino (sp)). his dad was the guy with the yellow mustang that blew his head gasket. him and his dad had to drive ryan's car back because his dad's car was on the trailer instead.
back on topic, if anyone is interested just shoot me a pm or post up. a few of us ames guys are going to meet up at kmart at 9 a.m. and then meet up with the des moines guys at 10.

Got this in a recent email...its a petition to get rid of the front license plate requirement in Iowa:

There is a petition online to remove the front license plate from Iowa vehicles. I have signed it and hope everyone will not only sign it but pass it on so that we can get as many signatures on it as we can. Not only Corvette owners want to abolish the front plate. If we can pass this on to everyone we know, maybe we can accomplish this.
We need to get the word out on this petition. I am also in the process of putting together a list of all state legislators and will be sending out an email asking that everyone email your local congressman and senator as well as copy all the rest of them requesting that we abolish the front license plate. I hope to get this out to you in the next couple weeks. Maybe we can flood their email at the same time as a petition is being presented.

i signed it. i've also had 3 tickets from the same cop. the rest of the cops tell me they don't care if i have a license plate on there since they all know its me. this guy just has major issues. front license plates are lame

Signed it I haven't been pulled over yet of it but i thinks its pretty retarted to have one on there. I might go to that this thes sunday for something to do!
