The goddamn VATS system that I should've had tuned out, when I got my tune. Now, I can't figure out the stupid code to get a bypass module for it. I put a tester on the resistor on the key, and it's giving me a reading that would be inbetween a VATS #3 and #4 (7.48-7.52 ohms). I'd rather not send my PCM back in to be retuned, and get charged $50 for it, just so I can get VATS removed either. So, now I'm trying to talk my buddy into helping me with a cam install pretty quick, so I can jusify the $50 retune, for a performance gain too, other than just to remove VATS.

Hey dave did you get a ticket or anything? or did you end up out running him? I f*ckin hate cops. Ya i know i shouldn't be racing on the streets but seriously...go do drug busts...Everyone has drugs on em here in dsm and in boone! lol

yeah fastenuf its sadly true about the drugs. and no ticket for me 
i was just a little bit to fast for them (like 180+ to their 125 or whatever) boone cops are so stupid too. i smoked my tires all the way from 8th street to 7th on story and parked my car right in front of jimmy's bbq. apparently they couldnt look at my car and see that the tread pattern was the exact same as the one on the road lol

screw boone cops...a - hole's gave me a no front plate ticket.
bunch a crap because there a ton of cars running around ames / boone area without front plate. on of the lamest law to enforce.

yeah zues it is pretty much BS. they only pick on the cars that they know can smoke the crap out of them. idk how many piece of crap ricers run around with SOOO much illegal crap done to them. and the funny thing is they are the ones always speeding through town and doing really unsafe crap but does anything happen to them.....hell no they pick on the muscle cars. Freaking weak is all i got to say.

Sold my "daily" driver last night. Since we live on the North Pole, I guess a lowered '93 Mustang w/ 17" BFGs wasn't that great of a driver. The car had been sitting for most of the last month, so it had to go bye bye.
I just got done snow blowing a half hour ago & now it looks like a blizzard outside again. WTF?!?

I'd like to run you sometime this year Unstang 
. I remember you having a good car at Eddvyille last time we ran. I'm very satisfied with the tune I got last fall and it'd be nice to see how well she stacks up. I just wish they had a quarter mile somewhere remotely close to Des Moines to go to. As far as track prep it's hard to beat the ville on any given day. I know there's a 10.5 class this year, might try that just for the hell of it.

I'm anxious to get it down the track with a full pull on the nitrous, going to get the tune touched up a little & I'll be ready.

Jason I don't know what the hell happened up here. I left for kansas city friday afternoon for an NHRA tech seminar when we got there it was 60 degrees with no snow on the ground. Come back later this weekend and we got hammered up here. Makes me almost want to go back now lol

Nothin on the car yet. I've got Pacesetter LT's and true duals waiting to go on when it gets warmer out. I actually used Tspence's setup as inspiration when I was doin my research lol I'm thinkin either spray or a stall in early summer as well, not sure yet though.

Hey Dan. Im in cedar rapids. Ive got an 01 TA, nothing special. There is a few other guys on here from the Iowa City area, and ALOT from the Des Moines area.
