Still no insurance on mine till april 1st, then I can start driving it from time to time. I'm really looking forward to hitting a track this year with it. I sold the ol' plow truck and have been driving the wheels of the Iroc lately, so at least I get to throw a gear lever around a bit.

Where did you put your shift light? I got a harlan and was going to intall it today but was busy with other things. I think im going to put mine in the defroster vent.

I got it from raptorperformance.com, but alot of sponsors sell it. I think the harlan and the raptor are pretty much the same thing. the harlan is cheaper but i could't find one. i put mine in the defroster vent on the A pillar as well. looks good and works great. Install is not bad. installuniversity.com has good directions. The light is right on with your engine rpm while your analog tach lags by about 3-400 rpm. let me know if you need any tech support.

Went to an Iowa Chops game last night, and while I was leaving after the game I saw an awesome Orange GTO with Idaho plates, and a great sounding cam. Never saw the person driving, then later on, I saw it parked around 4th and court ave last night. Just kinda wondering whose it may be, and if they are a member here

Nice looking car. What torque arm are you running? The reason I ask is because when I installed my Adjustable Spohn T/A-Underbody Brace Combo, it came with a magnetic angle finder to set the pinion angle. I believe the equation was Driveshaft Angle minus Pinion Angle equals True Pinion Angle. But, ya know, without digging out the instuctions, I'm not 100% so don't quote me. I do know that the Factory Pinion Angle is 0* and a good drag race setting is -2*. It wasn't that tough to do though. The worst part was holding the angle finder on the driveshaft while waiting for the needle to stop swinging to get a reading. Apparently aluminum isn't magnetic? But like I said, it wasn't difficult. You could just buy an angle finder and do it yourself. Just a thought...

hey mumbles. Ive got an angle finder, and know how to set the pinion. The problem is getting the car up high enough in the air with the suspension loaded. Its lowered so getting a jack under it is a complete pain in the ***, let alone trying to get it high enough to actually work on it with the rear suspension loaded.

ive got a local shop here that is going to do it for me, with a lift. They are the only one I could find to do it. All the others wouldnt touch it. Its a local speed/chassis shop and i hope to get it in to them sometime next week. I have 9 ft ceilings in the garage, and a 4 post/drive on lift was def. a though in my mind, trust you me! Hahaha. Now just to find the money, and convince the wife......... hmmmmmmmm
