Well guys, had put the car up for sale. Decided both Amanda and I didnt really want to sell it........ So what is the only logical explanation in this circumstance?? Since the rear whines so bad you literally cant stand it and vibrates like no other. Did I mention it made ALOT of noise the last hole shot I did??? Well, we decided an S60 was in order :-) Pick it up saturday, WOOT!!!!

Iowa Slowest Time Stock 1999 T/A 4/a 2.93 gear & street tires at Hangover Fest at Cordova.
14.23 A slipping & sliding away. Traction so bad with street tires I just walked it out of the hole and nailed it, every witch way but straight, can't wait for warmer weather and another go at it.

ok. Got the 10 bolt out tonight. Also picked up a used PST 3.5 inch aluminum driveshaft for pretty cheap. 265.00 shipped for it. Its got no more then 75 miles on it, looks brand spankin new. Also got the S60 home today and pulled the cover off. It also looks literally brand new inside. 200 miles on it and 10 track passes. Ill be ordering either 4.10's or 4.30's for the car here very soon. I cant decide which to go with. The 4.10's give me 126 mph at my current limiter, and 4.30's give me 120 mph on my current limiter, both at 4th gear on the limiter. I also noticed tonight that one of my rims is cracked, so going to look for either a new wheel, or a new set. Ill keep the thread updated as things progress

I can't decide on what gears either... It will be between those two also. What's your current limiter and tire size? Right now mine is 7k so I believe 4.30's would work better. I know this motor won't last forever and the next one that goes in will most likely be a 408 that I only have to spin to 6500. Thinking that 4.10's would be better for that setup

I have 4.10s in my 10 bolt and they are great. At my current limiter and tire size, I could muster 120 at the limiter in 4th gear with 4.30's or 126 at the limiter with 4.10's. I think I will tick it out with the 4.10's but man 4.30 would be alot of fun :-) There would be no traction at all even on DR's with that much gear though......

If anyone is looking for some track tires, I'm finally taking my 275-40-17 MT radials off of my car. They still have lots of track passes left in them, probably not the best for a daily driver though. I've gotten a TON of miles out of them & lots of passes, they certainly outlived my expectations by a lot.

Hey guys I'm getting a couple local people from the newton area 6-8 of us together for a cruise this weekend. I think we are heading to des moines to meet up with some other guys then gonna end up at a park somewhere to grill. If any of you guys wanna meet up just pm me. Took a couple better pics of the car today. Feels nice to have it out again.
