Iowa Fastest Cars?

i agree with benji. they took the top 4 wtih over 20 in a class. the blue 07 mustang with nothing but rims and a crome bbk intake took first over that scion with everything. i wasted my time and money. the judges didn't know what the hell to look at. There was lowriders in that class? wtf!! The modified camaro class shoulda been out to 2002. And the stock class was just as f'd up. Big waste of time and money. What a joke.

That is why judged cars shows around here are a joke...If you don't know someone or bring a brand new car, you get nothing. I've seen way too many shitty cars win trophies to give a crap. The Mustang Club show is the biggest fraud of them all! haha

SpeedInc and FLP are in Chicago (I'd probably recommend SpeedInc after my experiences with FLP). There is a shop in Omaha, but I can't recall the name right off hand. As soon as I can get a wideband I will be finishing my car up myself.

That's what I was going to do with the LT1 so that's a plus. I'm more worried about the LS1 though. I was hoping for something closer than chicago but I want it done right too... What do you guys think about a mail order from frost for just bolt ons?

Jason, not sure if I will make it to the track any time soon now. Think my pressure plate on my basically new clutch is messed. Installed the tick master cylinder since the stock one took a ****. Worked fine for a few days and now I get a nasty vibration through the peddle and it feels like ****. I have the worst luck with this damn car. Think it may be time to sell it

OK...
The GTO is now riding on stock 17s w/, Nitto DRs on the rear, I'd like to pick up a set of OEM 18's for it though. I took this one the day I finished some buffing on it. I'm still going to get the stock grilles back on the front of it & maybe 1 or 2 other minor things.
The Mustang project is still in the planning & purchasing phase...Here is a pic of it. The sweet cowl hood will be swapped out for a stock hood & some darker window tint will be on it when it hits the streets.
I won't junk up this thread with all the details...Here is a thread of the build...if you want to check it out.
