I need to get to a drag strip sometime with my car. Only ever been there with my bike, and that was at Eddyville. I was going to hit Cedar Falls not to long ago, but clutch went out the week of and was stuck at home with no bike to race, and the car was miles and miles away!
I wont be able to do anything tonight. Im way to busy right now with school stuff and my internship. Ill keep checking back incase my night opens up better, I actually have a test tonight after work......

I had to stay in & study for an exam tonight...That sucks!!!
No racing for me on Sunday, weather is not looking all that great & I am going racing @ KCIR on 11/3, so I don't feel the need to race this weekend.

Yeah I'm not sure if I will head to Tri-State tomorrow or not. My luck it would rain on me when I got there. Only about a 20% of rain tomorrow though, then tomorrow night it is supposed to be a higher chance. However, if anyone else wants to make the trip I would go. It kinda sucks driving that far just cruising by yourself. So, any of you guys want to run your cars tomorrow hit me up. Rodney said he would go if people are going to show. 515-490-8309.

Hey Andy, just let me know if your going to head own there or not, and i can meet you there. There is a good chance of rain for tomorrow night, and that very possibly could move in quicker, and set us up with rain during the day. Who knows? So i raced my friends 01 lightning last night got 2 runs against him then his block blew apart at 120 mph. Then some kid in a B18C civic hatch that "runs mid 13's" tried to take me. Nothing like a 8 car length beat down in 1/4 of a mile!!!

I cant make it, again taking docks out of the lake. Im kinda depressed I had to miss it (wrenching and meeting some of you)
Question for you guys who are drag racing your LSX motor/cars. Have you done anything to your rear ends? Im concerned I have too much power/trq for the little guy on a sticky strip. You dumping it and its holding up? Slipping more I would assume because of trackion issues. I want to put new gears etc in my car, but holding back because I really just need a new rear end... JUst curious to what you guys are doing/changed etc. I have always been a car guy, but never really got to a strip, just streets (which I need to get away from before its too late). Been drag racing my bike, but would like to get into the car. I just dont want to break something
Also, the places you all are going too, they allow bikes? Is it bracket or just for fun? Heads up? How are things run where you are going etc. Thanks guys!

It will be mid morning, 10 or 11ish. Dave - where you on Lincoln way around 7 pm today - i saw a red formula that was in front of me - turned on elwood drive.

im leaving here around 8, so will see you guys about 10 or so. Depending on if we meet up somewhere off the interstate and follow you in, or just drive straight to your place.
