I don't know how my class shakes out & how many cars there are, but I beat the guy I raced by over 1 second...

Still was hot out...

Last time I heard was sjones was #2 qualifier in his class...

i went to eddyville tonight, i didnt realize they stopped prepping the track after test and tune and i showed up for midnight madness.

I was running on 255/16 bfg radials

best of the night was:

8.3141 at 84mph with a 1.89 60ft there has to be some more mph in this thing somewhere and as far as the 60ft goes im still on the stock torque arm and lower control arms

any ideas??

Have a great idea.. ditch the car and buy a turbo honda ....JK torque arm, control arms and a little nitrous..... Get you right into those 7s you are looking for. Got the bike fixed last night after the chain went flying at 100mph... Good luck hope to see you at the track again. Maybe next time my car will be finished..

I went to a Pontiac dealership yesterday to get the remote for my keyless entry (they want $125!!) and I had 3 guys walk out and ask me if i was trading it in... I said "Hell no"... then the one guy asked me how much I wanted and I said $17k... guy looked at me and told me I was crazy.... shortly after, his manager came out and was like "OH MAN, beautiful car darlin', you know these cars are selling for 17 or 18 now? They're hard to find these days"... the other douchebag immediately put his foot in his mouth.

I guess because i'm a young blonde they feel they can screw me over?

I dont know, maybe i'll go apply at advanced auto parts... I heard you get a decent discount?

Working at a dealership isn't that bad. I started out selling cars now i'm a service manager. There are gonna be bad people no matter where you work. If you looking for a customer relation job "sales" its a pain in the *** no matter who you work with.

alright ill come look at it this upcoming week. Im hoping to get into the 7's with out the bottle lol id be happy with a 7.999. If i could hook up it would be great.

pretty sad when you rode i half throttled out of the whole against that mustang then punched it and still spun a shitload. The bad part is that mustang still lost by 5 cars.

I also raced that supercharged yellow mustang i ended up right at his door kinda pathetic for him.

I was there watching for about an hour or so. I thought that was your car, but wasn't sure. I'd say suspension for the 60' and a bigger cam if you want a higher trap speed. If you could pick up a couple 15" rims used somewhere then the 275/50/15 mickey thompson drag radials will help because they rule over the bfg's.

1. - you are right, they do stop prepping the track at TnT...its depressing as around 12:30 I quit hooking up

2 - the guy that drives the yellow stang is a d-bag. I raced him all last year and he couldn't even come close. I don't know if you went over and checked out his engine when he had the hood popped popped, but hes a got a saleen supercharger with a spraybar on the intercooler. His buddies wanted me to race him and I told them to let me put the same amount of cash into under my hood and we'll see who wins... that tended to shut them up real well. I think I'm getting a cheap single plane and a plate with a 100 shot...I'll race him power adder for power adder!

3. I drive the red 3rd gen with the flat black cowl and hockey stripe... it's a little rough but fun as hell to drive! My fastest for the night was an 8.33 with a 1.79 60'. It was kinda pathetic, none of those other mustangs stood a chance other than that white Mach 1. I spun through first with 2.1x 60's and still spanked them all night long...

that white mach1 i finished with my front bumper at his passenger door. he got me on the holeshot, good race tho.

that race you w/ your fastest of the night was against me i believe, i ran a 8.319 and you ran a 8.33

The yellow supercharged mustang GT is from here in osky. I've never had any problems with him. I noticed he double bulbs everyone, but I think there were so many people racing that didn't have a clue they probably didn't know what a courtesy stage was anyway...lol. He runs 7.9x with a blower those new mustang GT's just don't have it. Did he say something to you guys that pissed you off or you just hate fords that much?

I dont have a problem with him, I had a problem with one of his friends coming up to my buddy and i trying to get us to put money on a race against him lol.

I didnt care for the kid in the white mach1, they were really inconsiderate and being a dick to me when i asked what he was running for times and showed interest in his car.

there's nothing wrong with fords, cars are cars and its a passion we're all interested in, i just don't care for the kids that get them because they're cheap horsepower and think they're the fastest things in the world.

I ran in the World Street Challenge Shootout-LSX, HEMI (which there were none!) & Modular Fords. It is an index class, based off of your fastest qualifying pass, you were allowed a 1 tenth breakout.

Got knocked out in round 2, so no $ for me. The heat & wind really slowed me down today...Got a little more used to the pro tree today, had a good time, even with the event being ran like ****...

i don't have a problem with fords at all. He actually has a really nice car, I just really don't like him at all.

I have a problem with people like him who have money they can just throw around and think they are big ****. I was spanking him last year, and so when he gets a supercharger and sprays the intercooler he wants to race again even though I brought the EXACT same car, and then having him and his buddies all call me a ***** cause I won't race for money. That just isn't right IMO. Also, if you even try and talk to him about his car or what he's done to it, he just comes off as an arrogant ***, where most of the people that I have ever talked to down at the track, including 355 are more than welcome to share what they're running, the times, or jsut bs'ing about cars in general.

I also tried to to talk to the guy with the white Mach 1 to see what he's running and what hes got under the hood and got he EXACT same impression as 355 did... I jsut don't like people like that because a majority of weekend drag racers aren't like that. Most will usually be more than happy to talk about their cars, offer advice, even parts if need be sometimes. I's just people like Billy (yellow stang, d-bag) and that Mach 1 that **** me off.
