Did some prep work to the SS tonight, to get ready for STL. 
*New front brake pads, the old ones were TOAST!
*Detailed all 4 inner wheel wells & under the car, had to make room for some new burnt rubber.
*Polished the Bogarts & cleaned the inner barrels of the SS wheels real good.
*Undid the heater hose mod, ie: put the stock isolators on the rear springs to raise the rear a little bit.
*Serviced the bullet proof 10 bolt!
Tomorrow night I am going to finish the buffing that I started last week. Maybe I can find a tenth with some slick paint!!! I even had time to pay Scott off for helping get the rear springs out & in, the HO got a quick buff in a few spots.

I still have not gotten my car back from the shop!! (I hit a deer two weeks ago)... I was supposed to have my car back last Thursday... but they found more damage by the passenger fender (I guess I bent the frame a bit?)... so then they said I could get my car back Tuesday (Yesterday...) well, here we are... it's Wednesday, I called them and the guy was like "oh yeah, we forgot to fix the door (the deers leg took out the bottom of the door where it says "formula")
Now i'm supposed to be able to pick up my car at noon tomorrow. WTF. What kind of douchetards are working on my baby?
Oh... they gave me a loaner vehicle... a 2003 Cavalier. 4 Door. NO POWERED WINDOWS OR POWERED LOCKS. MY 1986 BUICK Regal even had powered locks and windows!! The check engine soon light is on in the Cavi (of course, it wouldnt be a Cavalier without that right?) and the brakes dont work too well...
Jesus... I need my car back.

I'm heading to Bowling Green this weekend....got a private tour at the corvette plant. Never been there before so I'm looking forward to it. Any of you guys ever been there?

I just got back from there on Sunday night from picking up my new bike. I went through bowling green but forgot about the vette plant, should have at least driven by! Oh well, have fun on the trip!

Guess i don't have enough posts to sell anything yet so i'll post here to see if anyone local is needing anything.
All parts are new and never used.
Selling cause i'm buying a new car.
1. Pacesetter headers and y-pipe 400$ both
2. ported ls6 oil pump from TSP. 90$
3. ls6 intake painted white. 280$
4. ruff racing 278 wheels. black with chrome lip. 600$
5. ws6 hood. non painted. 420$
6. 347ci diamond pistons with rings. 400$
7. eagle h-beam rods 500$
8. taylor wires "red" 25$
9. ms4 cam 111.5 lsa 285$
10. cometic head gaskets 120$
11. 1999 ZX7R NINJA 2300$

Thanks... it will definately be a great time. I am originally from STL so getting together with old friends and family is always fun.

I got my car back!
they gave me a FUNCTIONAL ram air hood! Hurray! But now I gotta go find an airbox and all of that fun stuff.... but still... my car looks a LOT better with a functional hood....
Went to advanced... the told me $389 for a K&N and Oreilly told me $450 for the same one.
Looked at summit... might get SLP?
