It was $500 bucks for the basic kit. I believe it's $600 or 650 for the upgraded I/O controller kit. There is a crap ton of learning to do. I never realized all the figures and tables the computer deals with in these newer cars. If you don't keep messing with it you will forget what you are doing. I have to refresh my memory every spring. An air/fuel sensor is pretty much required also. Unless you have a dyno to verify things. If you plan on sticking and messing with these LS motors then I would say it's worth it. Otherwise just let a reputable shop do it.

I said F it, just put about 5 miles on the SS, ran down to Stew's & back to browse the lot. I've had it out of the garage a few times during the winter thaws & driven it around the block once or twice. I'm not ready to get it out for regular duty yet, too much sand & stuff out there still. 
BTW, I put my Bogart drag wheels on ebay today...

This past weekend I made the trip to speed inc and back. I heard from a good source that a Speed inc open house will be held prob around Middle of May. Anyone planning on going?
