Few pics of the new house we moved into this weekend. Still have alot more work to do, but it has came a long way already!!! We removed all the carpet and pad to find awesome hardwood floors underneath, that needed only a coat of wax. Removed all the doors, window casig and base boards, primed and painted all the walls and ceilings. We still have to put in the new doors, casing and trim, update the kitchen floor, and put a tile floor down in the master bath, and the back entry way. I also removed all the aluminum privacy crap they had wieved into the back fence (as you can see laying in the garage) Please excuse all the crap in the garage, need to make a dump run. Just havnt yet had time.

I feel your pain. We worked all weekend on the house. We are working to get the last 3 rooms painted and made good progress (1 bedroom was painted the Ankeny school colors: dark purple ceiling with mustard gold walls). And we got a big garden in the back that had been neglected for years taken out. There were 8 trees growing out if it . At least I got to look at the car while I was going in and out of the garage.

Hey guys, TA is finally in AMES!! Hopefully now I will be able to come to a gathering! Brought it here and it will be here for at least the next couple of weeks. I run it for awhile, trade off with the Grand Prix, then back to the TA.

Rodney, looks like you got your work cut out for you with a new house! Looks like a good investment, I need to invest in something sometime, just enjoy playing hard right now...

Well see how the weekend plays out. Looks like shitty weather for the drag racing. Ill see about making it to Eddy, wont be draging the car I dont think, I would embarass all of F-body kind with my lack of experience there....

Awesome! I just sold my 99 GSXR 750, I bet it is a fun bike as Im sure it is comparable. We ride up here in Ames quite often, and we try to make it to DM for bike nights when we can. My bike is down till hopefully this weekend, doing a 636 fork swap on my Z1000, and the axle comes in Friday. Front forks are leaking like mad right now, so I retired the bike till I do the swap this weekend!

Good to hear you'll be there!

You should really run your car though, there is a couple guys coming up from Kirksville, Mo bringing a stock C6 Z06 and a stock newer mustang to enter. And you never know when someone is gonna break or red-light!

I'llbe down there watching pending the rain. I finally got the last parts ordered for the car today. I've already donated 6300$ to texas speed and 2000$ to hood and wheels. This weekend i'm pulling the car in the shop and cleaning the engine bay and painting/powdercoating all the parts i can till the engine goes in next weekend. Just hope the machine work gets done by monday.

I was really wanting to come watch, but I have to work all night(will not get off work till about 1 am). The only guy that can cover for me is out of state at a fishing tournament so taking a vacation day is out of the question. I have seen a stock zo6 run and they are very impressive. I've got a feeling you guys might see a 5 second pass on a small tire if some of the major players show up.

props to you for making this happen...maybe I can get a day off to see the next one
