Default Quincy Illinois.....where am I going?

So I found out yesterday that Im going to be the new Marine recruiter in Quincy IL. Im from schaumburg and lived in Illinois my whole life and never heard of quincy. I managed to locate it on a map, but when I called the recruiting station they just asked me if I liked hunting. Anybody know anything about this place? I will be moving there in March.

Its right next to the MISS river. Pretty decent size town, and I thought there was a college there as well. So, there should be some chicks floatin' around there

HAHA wow that blows bud. Very sorry to hear that. I have family in quincy, there isn't really **** to do, there are a few hick bars where some decent women hangout. QU is there (Quincy University), but it doesn't have that many students and the girls aren't anything special. It is nice if you like quiet towns, hunting, etc.

Good luck. I like to go a couple times a year to shoot 'sum guns.

Not at all, you'll probably get a lot of easy recruits. Its not that bad. As long as your close to the city its good. On the plus side taxes are DIRT cheap. My Aunt and Uncle pay like $300 for like 5 acres.

Its a decent town about 40,000 people. I'm from Chicago, but go to college at Western Illinois University which is in Macomb. Macomb is 1hr north of Quincy and lots of WIU students are from Quincy. The positive of Quincy is one of very few towns out here that have an actual mall. It is one of the biggest cities in the area and has stuff like a performing arts center, nbc 5 station for the tri-state area, etc.
