Yes he did on Thursday,Thanks for the FIX!!. We have been putting some real easy miles on it yesterday and today,he is changing the oil and filter right now.He is gonna probably take it over to Mike at Straightline to have him change the lockup in OD.Its locking at about 52-55 mph under light load.It probably should be around 40-45.
Next Sunday is Easter,i dont think they 41 will be open.

Right now the density altitude is NEG -1300 foot. By 12 noon is should be around -800 to -900 foot. This is going to be possibly the best air to race in this season if the barometer keeps steady or goes up more.

NHRA and Chris,Good to meet some fellow ls1 techers. Fast cars you guys have there. Track was slick today but, I was still happy with my times. Actually beat my P.B. and I added some weight over winter (subframes,Lca`s and relo. brackets, panhard bar and l7/ls2 clutch). Heymoej`s car finally came around some leaving off idle lol. he was happy with his time slips but, cant wait to leave off the stall. I pulled the cover off the rear and sure enough, spider gear missing about 5 teeth on the auburn posi DOH!!!!!

I was there. 13.06 @ 109.22 was the best.(had 3 others in the 13.06-13.07 range). The first pass(first ever in the car) was a 13.17 wheel hopping through 2nd. Best 60' was a 2.08. If I had a d/r and no wheel hop it would have gotten into the 12s for sure.

Then my buddy in his mustang raced a lightning twice and the money I won from that payed for the gas and pepsi for hte ride home.

Was nice meeting and talking to you guys.Yea too bad that CHEAP *** DENNY would not lay down any VHT, it could of been real ugly.Chris ended up runing a new best of 11.11 at 123.50 with bad 1.59 60 ft,his 60 should be in the high 1.40 range.I ran a new best of 10.52 at 127.50 on a 1.43 60 ft.I gained 2.5 mph over last year, but the et really never showed up.That sucks about the rear end!

ya blew the spider gears in the posi, I have some pics if you can host them for me. I have another posi laying under bunch but I forgot I swapped bearings off of it. Im just gonna get a rebuild kit and throw all new bearings/races in it. both pinion and ring gear weren`t touched lol. Moe, I found a chunk of spider gear in between the 2 pinion bearings. I guess im just gonna have to sell the SS and buy a automatic to run with all you fast guys, DOH!!! cant do that, driving on the street is soo much fun in a manual car.
