Anyone from AKRON/CANTON Ohio? Anyone from AKRON/CANTON Ohio? Kinda excited that the new Quaker Steak and Lube up by the hall of fame brdige in Canton is going to be having cruise ins and car shows in the summer! Also looking forward to some of the shows at Summit racing!

Cuyahoga Falls here. I'm actually in class right now at akron. A few people are meeting at steak n shake at chapel hill tonight at 10 swing on by if you're free.

Akron here. I was wondering if QS&L was going to be having any car shows. I was just there on Saturday, but didn't see anything about car shows. Had stuff about bike nites and what not, but nothing about car shows. The Cleveland area ones are on Sunday nites right? Hoping it would be the same there. It would be something different since I usually tried to go to N Canton Arbys on Sundays. As far as Summit Racing, they just have their big shows now. I hear neighbors complained about the Monday cruises, so I think it kinda migrated to Riverfront in Cuy Falls. That cruise is pretty decent.

Hey man im from the Area always in canton/akron every night. no car meet ups just yet planned for QSL. But on sundays we meet at the Arbys off Main ST in North Canton. Then head up to akron to Superfly sundays at the Spaghatti Warehouse. Then we have a group that meets up at starbucks about every night by the strip on nice nights. let me know when you will be out and we will meet up

The Arby's things already started??? And what time are you up at the Strip?? I'm always just driving aimlessly around, I should swing down by the Strip I guess.

ya theres a few of us. couple of us met at spagehetti warehouse tonight not much of a turnout since its early but enough. Some of you guys should make it out one nice Sunday nights from now till the snow comes back

Another great place is WINKS in barberton... They get a decent cround of very nice cars in the summer and have pretty good food and a band Fri and Sat nights.
I seen something posted that they are going to have cruise in's at the Canton Quaker Steak, just not sure if they planned dates or times... I may call up this week and try to find out.
Never been to the Arby's in Canton... do they get a good turn out?
I picked up a Summit racing schedule of events for this year (2008), as follows
Super Summit: Sat, June 14 9am-5pm
All chevy Show: Sun, Aug 10 9am-5pm
Pontiac,Buick,Olds Nationals: Sun, August 31 9am-5pm
Camaro Fall Classic: Sat, Sept. 6 and Sun, Sept. 7 8am-5pm
I seen something posted that they are going to have cruise in's at the Canton Quaker Steak, just not sure if they planned dates or times... I may call up this week and try to find out.
Never been to the Arby's in Canton... do they get a good turn out?

I was up at Winks last night for a bit. Arby's generally gets a very good turnout, Ill be up at Spaghetti Warehouse tonight, possibly Arbys first, but Im not sure yet. Spaghetti Warehouse starts at about 7:30-8.
