Insurance just went up...
Yea.. Used to be $1200 for 6 months.... Now I guess its going to be around $2000. 2 Accidents in 6 years. one was my fault (totaled my truck through a T intersection in a field... no other cars involved) and another accident that wasnt my fault. But It doesnt matter apparently. I also have 1 speeding ticket on my record... and about 2 front liscence plate tickets too...
Seem high? $4000 a year for insurance... My camaro isnt even covered in full! I have most everything but took off like roadside/ some other stupid crap.
Time to get a new insurance agent? .....Im thinking so
BTW for those who want to know.... Country Companies
05 Malibu/98 camaro are on my policy

You're paying way too much. I pay about $142/month so about $1700/year with full coverage, I'm 19, and have 2 speeding tickets and a wreckless driving ticket. I think we use AAA insurance.

Out that sucks.
I pay less than $3,000 a year and that's full coverage on my Camaro and my Stratus, and liability on my Accord.
I have no idea how much those tickets and accidents effect it though. I have no accidents and no tickets of any kind.

State Farm here. I pay $1300 every 6 months for:
- '02 Z28
- '98 Z28
- '96 Bonneville
- '04 Cavalier
That's full coverage on all 4 cars. I'm over 25, married (almost 9 years now ), last ticket was 10 years ago (maybe longer???), no at-fault accidents ever, no claims since 2002. I get multi-car, multi-line, and accident free discounts. I live within 1 mile of Chicago though, which brings the rates up quite a bit.
State Farm has been very good to me. But I might move my '98 car to collector insurance, since I drive the car so seldom.

At my work we have an insurance person that represents over 200 different insurance companies. She has special programs for people with bad driving records and such. If you're intrested in getting a quote just shoot me a PM.
