Whats up with all you guys and wanting to inbread all these cars..... If its an f-body put an lsx in it, if its a LTX put an LSX in it ( sorry josh and shawn ), if its a ******* mustang put a 5.0 or whatever 4.6 in it.... It easy choose a plat form and mod.......

I agree with Nate. Yea yea yea we all know that fast imports do exist BUT COME ON. You talking about putting an IMPORT motor in a AMERICAN car. Didn't they do that in some fast and the furious movie with a late 60's mustang... you see where i'm going with this?
I'm too deep into my car how it is to do that swap! Long live the opti!

One tip for Nick (or anyone looking at a project car).
If you're particular about how your car looks (i.e. nice paint and body are important), spend the time and get a CLEAN chassis to start with. Bodywork is a PITA, and if you do it after the car is done, it'll never get done, as you'll be driving it... just my .02

blake-ipedia gets it. its a cool project idea. anyone can buy a car w/ an ls1, 5.0 whatever hell that's y i bought the vette, but it takes nuts (and money) to make something that should never happen work out well
