FFFAAACCCKKK... The bank froze the check for 5 business days, and there's a holiday in those 5 days, so it's not getting sold til NEXT tuesday.......

So Nate and Luke, rematch from a better roll

Nick,

That's the link from SD for the L92 heads, they also have the L76 intake in stock. I can't find that though because my search isn't working over here. (In comp lab at escuela)

How long have we been waiting on the Weiand intake? here's a recent thread about it...note when it was started..

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...+weiand&page=6

But if you have time you may wanna wait...off to class I go!

Thanks big guy

Nick,

You need F-Body LS1 accessories (alternator, A/C, water pump, crank pulley and associated brackets) for an RX7 swap. The new mounts do allow for the better (and cheaper) LS2 oil pan setup though.

Just an FYI, the alternator brackets are CHEAP even new; like 25 bucks for both brackets. Bolts are expensive though; ironic, no?

You will need an LS2 harness though; doesn't really matter from what, though GTO might be the simplest to deal with due to the similar layout of the accessories vs. the F-Body; I can modify any harness to work though. LS1 PCM won't work because of the crank trigger reluctor ring count differences, and changing those over is a PITA.

Might want to just leave it parked till its sold.
No sense risking it.

That is exactly why I declined the offer to srive your car the other night...believe me, if anything is going to happen to you car, it will be RIGHT before you get the money in hand and the new owner takes possession!!! Trust me from experience on this...(not with cars, but with other stuff). Leave that bitch parked until the check clears, you have cash in hand, and the car is in the new owners possession...

L92 heads even with L76 intake is going to be pretty nasty. You could get a 416 cube L92 forged motor, L92 PORTED heads, and L76 intake/fuel rails, 90mmTB, injectors for about $5500-6000 complete. You would be plenty fast, especially with a 150 wet shot! I wouldnt boost L92 heads, get aftermarket thick castings like AFR or DART

I agree with Starfire and SDB here; leave it parked. Tempting the fates otherwise.

Where would you get the 416 from? My plan was to run the stock ls2 bottom end this year with built heads and a .600 to .650 cam, all i know is the stock unported l92's flow 332cfm at .600 lift unported ( http://www.gmhightechperformance.com...ads/specs.html ), so i want to take advantage of that. Then next winter, my plan was to put forged internals in it w/ a 11.5:1 cr, and run a "small" 200-300 shot with "factory heads" ... i have no idea when it comes to any of this stuff though, and that's where you guys come into play (and thanks ahead of time for the help)

and i'll most likely park it, but these are the only 2 cars i've been "beat" by, and i've just got to clean the smudges off the beast's otherwise squeaky clean win record + i wanna beat cobb so i can make fun of him

for the most part I don't have a problem with the club, mavis has been one of my friends for a couple of years now, and my sister is dating one of the baker boys so I gotta be nice to him, specific members get me a little pissed though. Just dont be suprised if from time to time you catch a wise crack for owning a dsm.

Shawn actually drives the car pretty damn good (except for just that one time at the track ). He is one of the few people I would trust to drive the car.

Nick,

No problem on the links. So did the guy give you a personal check? Certified checks are the only way to go with a vehicularz purchase.
