We came down there with cars looking to race, not stand around in a lot talking about all the cool mods we did and how fast our cars should be and never get a race off.

If racing is really what you guys want, in all seriousness, you should go to Chicago. It's probably closer to you guys, and I garuntee you'll find tons of guys who are all about it over there.
We started this thread (and others like it previously) to shoot the breeze, and talk about car stuff (including our mods, and future mods as you mentioned). I know you guys just want to pull our strings to get us to race again, but few of us in reality are into the scene you prefer. We'd rather just go back to our boring forum of discussing our car stuff.
If you come to the Fort, I'm sure we can dig up some races for ya. But trying to stir the pot on here, and get us to go out of town to run is a waste of your time, cause most of us just don't care.

Beast, Klovers pics reminded me of the Supra in F&F when it pulled up on the trailor. Broken down, primered in areas, and in need of almost everything.
Your car is going to be wicked when you get done though! I only wish I were going to be around to see it transform into the real BEAST that it will be. By the time I get back in town, you'll probably already have it running 9's putting down 1,030 RWHP, and have it broke already.
Speaking of Beast, have you ever considered getting it for the RX-7's licsence plate?

How long are you gone for? Lucky guy on the pilot training bit. I considered going that way years ago (decent reflexes and better than 20/20 vision) but I don't know that I have the willpower to deal with getting screamed at for the necessary period of time to get to play with the planes and jets.
On a somewhat related note, my Father-In-Law gets back from Iraq (Senior Master Sergeant, Air Force) on Sunday.

How long has your father in law been deployed? I was just thinking today how nice it is in the fall. It sounds kinda stupid, but for the last 3 years in a row, I deployed around this time of year, and I missed the fall each time, and I forgot how much I enjoy the cooler weather (mostly for the cars
).If you want to make your father in law happy (which should be easy considering he's probably stoked just to be back home), take him to his favorite place to eat. Besides being away from family and friends, a good meal was one thing I really missed while I was gone.
Seriously though D, sorry to hear about yet more problems with your car. You are now officially the person with the worst car luck (just now passing me
). Be paitent, and persistant with getting it back together, and even though its the last thing you want to do right now, it will work out in the end.
