Found out what was wrong with the Formula's headlight. I replaced the headlight gears with some brass ones when I got the car (as the factory gears are nylon and are known to strip out). After replacing the gears, you have to apoxy this plastic housing back on over the gears (which I did). Somehow the apoxy didn't sit right or something because the plastic cover popped back off. It would seem that this plastic cover being as small and simple peice of plastic that it is would be cheep to buy. I'll have to make some calls on Monday to try and locate one.

Anyone have a spare one lying around I could take off their hands? (I doubt it, but I thought I would ask)

Here's a pic of exactly what I am talking about;

Those Ebay kits are the win, I did both my headlights too. Can't you just re-apply to plastic cover?

Hmm, I kind of like the way Drews RX-7 looks. I don't know much about Mazdas. Someone enlighten me. Plus I do need a winter vehicle. RWD and winter doesn't mix to well, especially with me.

There are quite a few people who have done v8 syclones. And a few that have done a LSx syclone. A turbo LSx syclone would be pretty bada** though

"tank spins" are pretty much all based on gear ratios, get it spinning, no lift-shift into second and turn the wheel to near lock and feather the throttle close to the peak of the power band. 700whp would definitely allow you to do some dry pavement tank spins.
