She didnt say where she saw it. On a side note, the attendant at the Kroger filling station made a comment about her being lucky for getting fuel for 3.90. and that it was going up!

edit, I just called her back. she told me that she didnt see the gas prices that high. The attendant told her that the prices were that high. Minimum wage FTL

I have been all over Elkhart today and it looks like 3.80 a gal is about average.

Yeah, I did some reading, looks like they're expecting a 15-20 cent bump east of the rocky mountains for the next few weeks until production comes back up.

I think the gas attendant was smokin' a bit of the pipe.

All the gas stations are gouging here in Indiana, Illinois and Michigan. Go to ohio and get it for 20 cents cheaper. I heard its mainly speedway doing the price jacking.

We race, but not to the extent, or way you guys do. We do enjoy our dyno days, bragging about RWHP, and yes, sitting around and talking cars in between cruises on the weekends. Like I said before, I know thats not what you guys are all about, or are into. But thats us.

You guys can come down anytime you like, and we can always dig up some people to run you. But, what you guys are looking for (running for $, and big races), you won't find much here. Check out Chicago man. Thats where you'll find what you are looking for.

I drive around all day at work, and see gas stations all over the city. I did see a few go up during the course of the day. But it was a difference of an average of $3.90 to $3.95. Not anything like the $5.00 hike you were talking about.

I'm not saying it won't though. As when Katrina hit, gas jumped up .80 cents for almost a month since it hit one of the nations largest oil refineries. And it could hit and cause costs to go up again. But I am not sold on it. Ike, although larger than Katrina, is weaker, and the coast is much more prepared this time around than then.

Ramones car is sweet. He may have huge wheels, but it will still be a fast car after the cam and a few other goodies.

BEAST. I also vote good choice on the silver. I wouldn't worry too much about weight reduction though. The car fully loaded is already light (well under 1,000 lbs less than most of us). I would leave everything in it that will make it safe and comfy. Yank the stuff that you won't use like the spare tire.

You're gonna be leaving lines in that thing for miles before you get traction

So everyone knows that a certain comp orange cobra got wrecked on 69 a month or so back. I was looking on svtperformance a few minutes ago and I think I ran across the car being parted out. Can anyone confirm this is his car or is it another 04 cobra missing the front end and a right rear quarter panel?

Someone bought the Ricky Bobby Mobile and was going to part it out, as I understand it, so that would seem to make sense.

Nick,

I agree with them, keep the car nice and comfy. Heck, I think we should try to cram A/C in there while we're at it. Worth a try anyway.

And keep the red leather, I think it's bitchin'
