No Frankie Fresh here; I think it's always been bent. I've fought a slight vibration the whole time I had the car. I finally replaced the very last piece of suspension, and it was still there, so I went in to Discount and had them check it out. They got it "as good as possible" but it had a nice wobble in it on the balancer. Not dangerous, but bloody annoying. Anyway, I've got new wheels en route. Much shinier than the old ones, same basic design and color (thick spokes in gold), but lighter and with a polished lip.

on a side note, i heard that you have some sales going on widebands. Any truth to this? I think it may have been Cobb that was telling me that on Sat. night. He to blame if i heard wrong!
Nick, keep your eye on the for sale thread at fort wayne muscle. I think that i found a guy to buy your motor and trans out of the FD.

If you wanna custom fab your headers http://store.racing-solutions.org/index.html is a good place to get SS 16ga tube. Its been the cheapest I have found so far. I priced it out and to get all the parts needed to do a set of headers and a crossover pipe, its a little under $700. They may not have the header flange in SS listed, but they may have it available.
I was going to go the truck header way, but its pretty much going to cost the same all said and done so you may want to look into this. If you can tac the headers together you could take them to someone to tig them.

Well no racing for me this weekend, (sorry Ben/Luke). I've been trying to track down a vibration in my front end for a bit, and went through everything yesterday, and took the wheels do Discount to get them checked out. Left front wheel is WAAAAY bent, like a 3/4" wobble on the balancer. Ouch.
New wheels are en route, the rears should be here Friday or Monday, but the fronts won't be here until mid next week as they were backordered. Damn.
I guess that gives me some more time to get the nitrous tested out anyway.

I'm pretty sure a Honda might possibly beat Blake-ipedia's RX7 on spray; but only in these parameters:
Honda gets 3 car lengths.
Honda also on slicks.
Honda launches within V-Tec.
Honda sprays 300 shot (and the bottom end some how withstands the equivalent of Chuck Norris punching you in the face full force)
Just in fairness, RX7 gets slicks and skinnies.
And last but not least, RX7 has e-brake set, car is off, and keys are in Blake's pocket.
Even then... Honda stands a slim slim chance of victory.

All I gotta say, as a Ford driver, and Lucas's second passenger, during this little battle, that things went rather well for a car that had a driver and two passenger both of whom weighed over 150 pounds. ^_^

The difference was one person. Both Blake and I are over 150 as well (not sure if Nick or yourself are really 150+). For how close they were, and the fact that when they jumped equally Blake barely (and I mean barely) pulled, I would say loose the 3rd passenger and it'd be too close to call out clearly who would take who.

i weigh 260, and i had over 100+lbs of crap in the trunk. I'm not making excuses, I want to run! But, I dont know if i will be available Sat. night. I forgot about a party i am attending in C.C.. Will Friday night work?

Anyone can answer this if you want. I was thinking of making some plates for my Borla exhaust and testing different size holes in them to try and control the rasp.
