Bill Davis. Look at Johns typhoon and my Camaro, and you will want him to do the work.

Trans crossmember fixed, rearend centered/pinion angle set, waiting on solenoids to come back from Nitro Dave then reinstall, tuning.

Yep, that is THEE car that inspired me to build the RX-7 the way I am. I saw this video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNSpp6fKnLk and it changed my mind of going high compression with a big shot to the set up that I'm going with. I've talked with him here on tech several times as well.

Well, I raced one of the new Challenger SRT8's with the Formula today after stopping by Hires to see Joe and Nate.

Hit it at 75 MPH and pulled him by a good car to car and a half. Once we passed about 115 though he caught up, and by 130 he passed me and had about a car or so in front of me. It was a silver one with a bunch of gay stickers that said in big letters "HEMI" all over the side of it, and then the back bumper had another sticker that had some website on it. I kinda would like to know what he had done to it (I am guessing Nitrous). I thought those things ran low 13's stock. I know if traction wasn't an issue, the Formula could easily trap speeds that put it in the 11's. Anyone know who this guy is? Or more importantly, what all is done to it?

I would have really enjoyed it if I were in the Z and he would have tried!

That is suprising, I didn't think they were that fast.

They aren't too terrible. They 0-60 in about 5 seconds... The Black ION Redline has walked one from a dig (wtf?) and from a roll. I witnessed this... That immediately made me believe them to be row-boats.

I was giggling every time you whipped by. That thing is quick for a mini-panel truck. ^_^ It sounds like it's running very well now.
