What would the option be if I went to a Dana 60 and 373? Thats just cause there is one at my house I will buy if I break mine. I am not trying to change everything as i go, but i know where i want to end up and dont want to buy things 2 or 3 times.

Not right now, but if I put spray to it and the cam, maybe better heads, a better converter, and just more and more I am thinking that it will be going at some point. I like to plan out just about everything, I dont know 100% how much a 10 bolt will take, but i know a 60 will take anything I would ever put to it.

Stud kit-
Preload bearing support cover-
Synthetic Fluid with posi additive-
Stock 3.42 gears from a stock 6 speed car-
You should be able to get all these parts for about $300 or so...have someone install everything that knows what they are doing. You do not need an aftermarket rear for what your doing. Save the money and weight!!!!!!!!!! i would install ARP rear wheel studs when your doing everything though...cheap insurance
Get a PI multidisc 3400 if your going to spray it, if not, get a Yank PT4000 or SS3800

Ok thanks!! I really am happy for the input I am trying to learn as much and as fast as i can. Would I want/need Mooser axles?

nope! You can get th 28 spline mosers that fit, but I never did, and I PROMISE you will note abuse your rear like I did when I had the car. I dont know how many times I **** canned it from a dead stop with no problems, and my car hooked pretty well.

COOL!! I didnt know how strong these rear ends are. I remember when that car was yours....I figured you had a built rear end in that, but thats why you ask questions.

To the handfull that were going to meet up tonight;
Since half of us seem to have scheduling conflicts, and I will be in town for another week (until the 4th), the hangout has been rescheduled for next weekend (either Friday or Saturday). Sorry for the last second change in plans, but it just seemed like only a few would be available to hang out and I wanted to hang out with as many as possible so it just seemed like the best call.

no, stock C clips in place! For your application, I honestly would go with aftermarket rear. To make a pick up hook, your going to have to be able to hammer the rear! I would think a 9 inch would be best for a truck application, but don't really know. Suspension geometry totally different on yuor truck than a 4 gen F body...check out the websites of people with fast S-10's and see what they are doing.

Selling is fine, a lot of people like running the LS6 intake with good results.....my point is most people do not port them as there is very limited amount you can take out of it with minimal results. The tendency is to jump to another intake.
