nah boys, i am looking at getting more than 650 out of the stock block, crank and heads. No other work will be done. Your little lsx motors just wont cut it, nor will they last with that abuse.

Not enough injector for e85. Hell, with the gas milage you get with that + the cost you're halfway to klotz anyway. I'm not running Klotz full time (I don't have Gerber level bankroll) but I will have a Klotz boost level and tune available. That **** just smells good...
On an unrelated topic... I hate stupid people.
My BMW has, since I bought it, had a slight shudder in the front suspension, and been a little unstable at high speed. I finally got around to buying all new front suspension (control arms, ball joints, tie rods, bushings, etc.) One of the bits I purchased was a set of "offset" bushings that increase the caster. Since I put them in (a few weeks ago) I've had a slight rub at full lock and even more awkward handling...
So tonight, I swap in the rest of the suspension, put the car down and the damned wheels are hitting the fenders. WTF.
Turns out the guy who I bought the offset bushings from installed them BACKWARDS. Nice. The old suspension was so trashed that it had enough compliance to let the wheels (mostly) center anyway. The new, proper parts were being pulled back by the misinstalled bushings.
Pressed them out and put them in the right way and voila, suspension feels great, and the rubbing is GONE.
I'm going to take my broken jack and smack this tool in the face with it...

And in the "Blake can't win for losing" news...
Press fit ball joint in one of the new control arms I put in last night just failed. 11 miles of use. Either the ball joint was too small or the control arm was too big. Either way, it failed. Of note, I didn't assemble the arms, they came assembled from the manufacturer. New in box.
I'm getting sick of this ****. I'm taking up knitting or something.
