I'll give ya a call sometime soon.

The weekend of the 4th and 5th would be good unless Nate has the car ready for pickup. Then that could be an issue. Although, if a miracle happens and he's got it ready this coming weekend I'll tell AutoZone to pound sand, I'm getting my car, in which case there's no issue.

been trying to track down an intermittent no run condition in my 92 Park Avenue. I at first was looking towards a fuel issue, i was wrong looking at that, pressure was 39 psi with vacuum on the psi regulator, and 42-4 with no vacuum. Was going to pull off the ign module when i came across these bare wires. I cleaned them with brake clean, but there was mass amounts of green fungus growing on them. My question is this. What would be the best way to go about fixing this? Should i go to scrapyard and pull a connector off another car and solder it in? Should i try to repair the wiring/ cut the wires and replace the terminals inside? I have the tool to remove the pins from the inside, but i dont know the name of them if i were to have to order them from the parts store.

You could probably depin the connector, and then heatshrink the ends of those wires (where they're damaged) with some glue filled shrink and reassemble the connector.

That, or just buy one a yard and solder it in (and glue shrink it).

I am thinking that the copper is too corroded to try to pull that off. I am very close to selling it, but i want to fix it right for the sanity of the next owner.

I would just hit up the junk yard. Easier and quicker to solder and heatshrink that.

You'd either need to dip the part in something to clear the corrosion off or solder a new part in, like Halucinator said, I'd just replace it.

What year is that off of? I have a huge box of 3800 engine harnesses and may have an ignition module connector.
