yessir it was. I have heard that the silver/gray fuzion evo mr is good for 11's... but have never seen it run myself. They do have some pretty quick cars that's for sure.

Sorry to spoil the gag, but I didn't order that shortblock. I wish. Joe was over yesterday and pulled the plugs and did a compression test. Definentely have a blown gasket on the driver's side between 3 and 5. The plugs from those two cylinders were totally shot and wet with coolant/water. Hopefully, no damage to valves or pistons/con-rods in those cylinders. I'm waiting to hear back from Nate to find out when he can tear into it. If the pistons/rods are shot, then I'll probably do a shortblock too. Not likely it'll be the one I "ordered", though.

On a side note, Julie's new washer and dryer were delivered today. I ordered them the first of the month, but they were backordered. In hindsight, that money (all $4k of it) would have made a pretty good addition to the shortblock fund. Oh well.

Just think about it, that washer and dryer you bought her was well money spent in the game of marriage. This way when you need to spend money on the car then she won't get as mad

4k for a washer and dryer though is kind of steep. What us guys do for marriage. I hope he got the best washer and Dryer for that money.

The washer and dryer and pedestals and warraties are all GE Profile. Very nice pieces. Ironic part of the deal was that it was me that initiated the whole thing. She was perfectly content with the current stuff.

The old washer and gas dryer (Kenmore) work perfectly. They are sitting in my garage waiting for a new owner. Anyone need them? Know of somebody that does? Frankly, I'd donate them, but given my appearent need for some cash, I'd like a little cash for them. If you need them, make me an offer.

Massey, shoot me a PM with how much you want for the washer/dryer. My wife has been on my *** to replace ours (which are ~30 years old). I have money for rods, that may have to be reappropriated for appliances.

I remember being single...
