Anybody be willing to set down with me and talk about lsx all motor combinations? I'm thinking about doing a big cubic inch all motor setup in a fox/thunderbird chassis. I'd like to keep the drivability up so i think injection will be the way to go.

Luke, that sounds like a great way to spend a lot of money. You can go 502 ci with a tall deck block (LSX or RHS). Big money. You can go 440 with a LS7 block. Joe's the one to talk to. He's going all motor with his car.

Hey guys, Ben's (not airforce ben, ben with the dsm who sold his lt1 firebird) old lt1 firebird got totalled recently. Ben and his wife are currently pulling parts off of it, so if you need lt1 parts. Post up and I'll make sure they get in contact with you.
But be quick about it, they'll only have the car til tomorrow.

Whats a good way to not have mega dollars invested in a bigger cubic inch motor. I've been stuck with 281 for quite a while. Even something low 400's is ginormous at this point. My one buddy wants me to run his old 408 motor 351 block. I'm just not wanting a carb though.

I have $4500 in my shortblock. Iron truck block, Callies rotating assembly, Wiseco pistons, etc. Good for over 1000 rwhp. Plenty strong. That's the cheapest way to go with "new" parts. You can go 4.000 stroke and up to 4.060 bore, I think. My bore is 4.005. Gonna need good heads/intake for that many cubes, though.

It's "done" for now. Waiting for the tuner to come late Sep. to do the nitrous tuning & dyno time. I think the new fuel system is making the car run a tad rich under load. Steve will verify the NA stuff when he comes. Car runs good. No more 25 mph kicks on cold tires for me, though. Spins all through first. I guess that's a good problem to have.

Awesome. Keep up the good work and I am glad to been able to help you out. Who said, small cam cars aren't fast. Sure wasn't me.
