Ben,
Not sure if you've ever been there, but you might like checking out the forum I run. www.norotors.com
All swap guys (mostly V8, some 1JZ/2JZ), lots of engineers (quite a few military guys also). Since you like the swap, you might enjoy looking around at some of the build logs and tech stuff over there.![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)

I'm not saying that you CAN'T mail order it, I'm saying that without a wideband you shouldn't, or at least, you shouldn't be going WOT.
I've done 10 of his year with his mods. The mail order would be the same base I'd use if a car came in tomorrow. Without being able to verify AFR though, who knows. Something silly like a MAF being clocked oddly or covered in filter oil or reporting irregularly could be potentially dangero
I'm not to be preachy at all, I just want everyone to be able to enjoy their rides to the fullest. It sucks to have a hurt engine; a little patience is always best when there is cash on the line.
Terry, try and find someone with a wideband local to you that you can toss in there and just get a peek at what the AFR is doing at WOT. Peace of mind is worth that!

I understand and totally agree where you are coming from but he had to do something to better the car from where it was at. May not be the best way but it at least the car runs better than before.
Your just making a valid point and I'm sure no one would disagree with that however we all have a tendency to get a bit antsy with our cars and how they perform and patience is put on the back burner.

I'm sure JPH can and will hook him up and get the info to Brian to ensure that the car is safe to drive.

Plus there was some hilarity with Ricky Martin's sweet new Evil Knievel bike.

Glad to hear things were decent. Its nights like those that we need to get back as regular occurances.

I'm selling a FAST 90mm throttle body, hoping to sell it to someone local so I don't have to ship. I'm asking $300 for it, I have pics in the classifieds and can send upon request. PM me if anyone is interested. Thanks!

Also thinking about selling something off my Z28. Considering selling my Baer brakes if anyone is interested locally, I can cut them a little better deal not having to ship the heavy parts.

Random video I made of testing an LS style hydraulic clutch, in case anyone wondered how that works. ![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)
