OK...I keep saying that the scene is dead in the Fort hoping to be proven wrong....I know Ben wants it to be kickin for when he is here visiting (I know I would too)....
BUT....its almost August and I haven't seen too many cars out and about, and haven't heard about many people going to Muncie or other tracks...and haven't heard ANY decent street races this year.
I drive by Liberty, and some other spots, dont see much action. Is it getting better? Are people street racing or at least going to the tracks? I know people are still working on their cars but not everyone is down. Anyone????

I know of more than a few people that intended to make it down to the track (Shocker for example), and I have heard of a couple street races this year. But with me not there, its hard to tell whats actually going on.
When I get back, I have a few ideas in mind to spark things up. A buddy of mine (Sean) may possibly end up moving to the Fort. He was my buddy who visited a couple of years ago with the twin turbo C5. He is finishing up his Turbo T/A that should put down well over 800 at the wheels. That, along with Masseys car, Blakes car, my car, Nicks car, and a few others out to be enough to get things started at least.
Racing is contageous. Kind of like being part of the car scene. If races are started, and people know and see that other people are regularly out, that in itself should generate more people.
But I do agree when I was home in May for the week, I was out two weekends, and the car scene was minimal.

LMAO, I hear ya. I raced a Mercedes 190 in my BMW last weekend. I really need to put my car back together, LOL.
I did at least win, haha. Didn't make up for losing to some girl in a 99+ Grand Am GT before that. God the stock 3 series is slow.

Don't look for me too much this season. Upgrading the fuel system. Lonnie's double pumper with rpm activation, -8 supply, -6 return, external regulator. I had hoped that one Racetronix pump with stock lines would be fine, but he said it's borderline at my hp level. Decided to just do it right and be ready for any future upgrades. I don't plan on having the car out (NA) for at least 2 more weeks. Nitrous isn't wired. Tuner won't be here for at least a month, so no spray for me until after that. Figure I'll get one track day if I'm lucky. When's GE's fall rental?

Long story, but I'd ask him if you want specifics.
Blake/Nick, every time I see this project, it makes me want one. That thing is going to be amazing to drive. Can't wait to see how it does.
