Darren, how many parts are you going to throw at that thing????? Put an auto in it and spray the **** out of it!!!!!!! Let me know when you get the abs delete done, kind of curious how that will work. Is the rear on its way or is it delayed? Sell the motor and tranny and clutch, put a TH400 and 454 lsx in that baitch!!!!!!

You know me, always changing something....the last of the mods is the ABS delete. Switches came over and finished the Cruise/TCS delete and put the single throttle cable in. The ABS delete looks fairly simple to install , I will let you know when it is done.The spray is going on but within reason. The last I heard the rear end was about 3 weeks out...that was last week so hopefully a couple of weeks till arrival. Depending on what we finally do with the 68 Firebird, I may swap the 383 and T56 out and get something different...that would be a good setup for the Bird.
I have to start making some money before too much more happens...being jobless isn't good for this Hobby.

Dont think of it as being jobless, just think of as a time where Cindy needs a second job!
I think your motor and trans would be ideal for the bird....then get a auto and big cube motor for the camaro....you gonna start taking weight out of it? umper supports, insulation, carpeting, etc?

Nothing major as far as weight reduction at this point....rear seats will be removed ...not much savings there and with the addition of a roll cage it is pretty much a moot point. If I'm going to go all out drag like JPH then yes it will see a major weight loss program but for now.....no not really.
She has been driving me around...thats her second job!!

I did see where a guy posted that his Fab 9" weighed less than his stock 10 bolt so once the car is back together with everything installed I will have it weighed and see.
