Me and a few buddies changed a crank pulley out and it was a PITA locating the tool. Good Luck!

BTW We ended up using a piece of wood to cover the crank pulley and gently tapped on it with a hammer until it got started enough to put the bolt in and tightened it up. Good Luck Either way man!

I went today and bought the 16 mm all thread, nuts, and washers to make my own. Noone had it on Saturday when I started looking. I had to go to specialty bolt place to get the all thread. If anyone else needs one I have enough to make two more. I will be keeping one for myself. If someone wants one I will sell parts for $20 which includes 3 nuts, foot of all thread, and a washer.

Put it in the oven for about 30 min and you'll probably be able to push it most of the way on if not all the way.

Depends on the balencer... If I am not mistaken dont some have rubber inserts that can be damaged... I put mine in with a longer threaded bolt and an impact. Since I didnt want to take the chance of anything getting F'd up, I took it inside for the night, and let the garage cool off to outside temp... in Jan. Went on easy as pie.

A torch can concentrate the heat on the mounting surface if you're worried about damaging it.

I tried the oven trick first thing. That was how I did the last one and it slid right on. This new SLP was a no go in the oven. Its now on and all I need now is plugs and the new 403 will ready to fire.

people do more damage trying to use long bolt vs. heating the balancer, its an interference fit.

if your properly heat the hub of the balancer you will not affect the rubber.
Should you be concerned with deforming the rubber use a propane torch or oven, it will take twice as long as acetylene.
