Default Brett Favre is going to New York Jets

For those of you who have not heard he is no longer with the Packers. Growing up in milwaukee area I have been a life long Packer fan and can't believe they let him go. After last season I thought for sure we could have a good shot at another super bowl this year! Just had to vent a little!

It's just a bad deal. I will always be a diehard Favre and Greenbay fan, but obviously he wasn't ready to retire and that put GB in a bad position after there was commitments already made, just a bad deal. I really hate to say it but I don't see Favre doing that great with the Jet's, atleast not this first year.

Madden Curse at it worse.

Brett was never going to get injuried so what the next worst thing that can happen? Oh let me think playing for another team like uuh the Jets. Don't learn anything bad from Chad like how to get injuried. Just a idea for other players stay the hell off the Madden covers.

I'm glad he didn't go to the Vikes, atleast now he is on a team that is going nowhere... The Packers handled it like crap, even though he put them in a shitty situation, they should have taken him back or just released him.

they did take him back...then traded him. i'm tired of hearing about brett favre. so he comes back to the team and the packers have to give him the starting job after they had already given it to rodgers, favre plays 1 or 2 more years, then retires again. rodgers will demand a trade in that time, so basically the packers would be left with nothing. i think they did the right thing. the guy wanted to retire, they begged him to come back, he said no, they moved on. that's how you should do it. you have to look to the future as a franchise and aaron rodgers is their future right now

I have always liked the PAckers and cant believe they did this, why would you get rid of the best chance you have to win a superbowl for someone who will most likely get hurt before the half way mark of the season. And not to mention Brohm is the real future at quarterback anyways.
