Do you have your CCAF? I believe the ALS counts towards management credits for CCAF.

They didn't have that but i took principles of management and somehow passed that. But that only gave me 3 credits and i need 6. Dantes has another management one so i should take that.

No I am an A1C i won't be taking ALS unless I reenlist I believe. I am working towards my CCAF.

I need 3 credits for management and 3 for humanities and i am done. I failed ethics in america (Dantes). Tough as hell.

I guess there is a general humanities that is a clep, i will probably take that next.

I have no idea what i am doing, just getting all the credits finished that my report says i need.

Ethics in America does cover your Humanities. Also, as stated, ALS covers your Management requirement for CCAF.

I did Ethics in America for my Humanities.... I had a "Humanities" course that didn't count for anything, figure that one out Ethics in America was pretty sucky actually, some of the question were very vague and cryptic...

You get 9 credit hours for ALS. You don't get speech credit anymore though.

Took my speech class online best thing I ever did. Cost me $60 out of pocket cause I was over my T/A but I got my CCAF and the AU-ABC already had me in Senior Standing with all the credit I got for the technical education part. One of the best parts of the Air Force is that damn degree

If you aren't re-enlisting, go for a real 2 year degree, not your CCAF.

I'm going to agree with this as well. Why?

CCAF is not going to get you anywhere with an outside school for the most part. You will get your CLEP/school credits but none of your military **** means anything. According to the University of Minnesota's Veterans website when I looked into them for next year "We will take your degree into consideration when applying as a transfer student but you will not recieve credit."

At least if you get a Community College General Studies degree even, you can still transfer probably all of those credits towards a Bachelors.

Also, while you are in a lot of places will accept your CCAF credits towards a real degree, so it ends up only being a few more classes to get a real AA as opposed to a CCAF. This is something I don't think you can take advantage of once you are out.

Negative. You can use it for an AU-ABC for some colleges, but it will be in a degree path that associates with your CCAF. Unfortunately for you and I Jperran we have a stupid *** comm one still. Both our AFSC Functionals have been trying to change that to something a little closer to what we have. However, after I got my CCAF I did exactly that and went for an AU-ABC, IT jobs pay very damn well on the outside.
