Alright guys here is the situation I absolutley can not stand being in Hawaii any longer. I have been told that hood is excepting alot of army signal guys currently. I am a 25S e4 p, I have a wife and child dont know if that makes any difference.
I have been here for 2 years already and I would like to put in a 4187 to get the hell outta here. The only catch is that I reenlisted in Feb of this year and they gave me a year of stabilization as a "perk" So that means if I spend the entire time I am supposed to here I have two more years to go. I seriously feel this is bad for my health physical and menta
if I have to be here another 2 years.
Also I would like to go to Iraq and do my damn part instead of being stuck on this rock. I already volunteered but was turned down because of my mos's weak numbers here in my unit. Which is the only tactical signal unit in the pacific. I would greatly appreciate any info on what I need to do to get outta this unit and leave hawaii. I would like being at hood or anyplace in the main land of the good ole US of A.
Thanks alot guys/gales!!

Man I here you about this place. I've only been here for 14 months, but i wish i could leave already. Do what you need to do, but the best advice i have gotten so far is your last command is always your best command.

I think it's more than the "no track on O'ahu" issue. And Jon, submit your paperwork to "waive" your stabilization and call your BM; you should get hooked up that way. And if you like the desert-like scenery of Hood, then you should check into Huachuca, too. (Arizona).
