Disposible razors If your not good at it now, practice shaving FAST
Two wash cloths/towels

Dental floss
Shampoo Won't need it...You won't have any HAIR lol
Soap Buy a soap dish
Long distance calling cards Just buy a cheap one.You can buy better ones there

Stationary
Small box of deterent Highly suggest the individual packets. If you can't find those, wait till you get there to buy it
Insect repellent Don't waste your money. DS will give some
Small notebook
---Know the rank structure BEFORE you get there
---Small alarm clock
---watch that lights up
---Any and all Bank account info: Bank's address, Account #, and routing # (it's on the checks) at a minimun.
---Bring some cash, not too much though. $60 should be good
---Make copies of ANY and ALL paperwork that is Army related and leave the copies with your parents.
---Your first 4-7 days will be at 43rd Replacement, where you will improccess into the Army. As soon as you get there they will give you a "Smart Book". Most of your time there will be sitting around and waiting. MEMORIZE that damned book!!!!! You have no idea how much easier your life will be if you know that book cover to cover.
Oh by the way, when you get to 43rd Replacement, at some point your going to run into a big black dude (not a DS) named Staff Sergeant Robbins. Tell him Sergeant First Class Legg said he needs to get off his *** and go on a deployment. Then sit back and watch him get all riled up. LOL Trust me, if he's not busy right then, it'll be worth it to watch him get all excited! LOL

O, since I have a b restriction on my license, which means I have to wear glasses when I drive, but I don't like wearing them when idont drive.
I prob will get bcus,
If I don't wear them ,will the dril Sgt. Know that im suppose to wear them?
Just want to find out before I find out the hard way.

(Marine here) lol i hate my bc's and loved them at the sae time everytime the DI's would shark attack us they alway had chew in their muth and would wash our face with spit. im glade i had my BCs because they kept alot of that crap out of my eye!
